Welcome

My name is Kathleen Delaney, and for the past 5 years I have had the privilege of serving as your District Court Judge in Department 25 of the Eighth Judicial District Court.

I have been a practicing attorney since 1990. I was first elected to the District Court in 2008 and took the bench in Department 25 on January 5, 2009. Since that time I have proudly served the citizens of ClarkCounty by overseeing one of the most varied court dockets in

the District Court. After my initial assignment to Civil and Business Court matters, I was asked by our Court Administration to oversee for one year all of the Adult Specialty Courts, including Drug Court, Felony DUI Court, Mental Health Court, and Competency Court. My current docket includes Civil, Criminal, and Business Court matters, as well as the responsibility for handling all appeals from our State’s unique Foreclosure Mediation Program.

If you honor me with your vote in the upcoming General Election* on November 4, 2014, you have my solemn promise that I will continue to serve you with honesty, integrity and the strongest possible work ethic. I invite you to visit the other pages on my website to learn more about me, and I thank you sincerely for your time and your consideration.
